Phillip Barba graduated from Woodlake High in 1968 where he was the recipient of the Math Award. His plan was to go on to college and become an engineer. His dreams never materialized as he enlisted in the Army and died in Vietnam in 1970. His family set up this Memorial Math Scholarship to honor Phillip and to honor the hard work of the recipient of the Math Award from each graduating class.

Criteria: Senior who excels in Math and identified as the top math senior.
