Presidents Message

Dear Friends of Woodlake High School,

My name is Nancy Clausen Gordon and I am honored to serve as the President of the Woodlake High School Foundation. As an alum of WHS, I joined the Foundation as a way of giving back to the community as modeled by my great grandfather, who was one of the first trustees of WHS High School when it was founded, my grandfather, who served as trustee on the elementary school board, and my father, a founding member of the WUHS Foundation. 

I have had the opportunity to get to know some of the families and community as an elementary school teacher at Castle Rock in Woodlake. I see the potential in the students I interact with at the beginning of their school journey. By supporting the WHS Foundation you directly support the dreams and aspirations of these students, which in turn will forever impact the future generations to come.

Thank you all for your support of the Foundation! Because of you we can reach our goals of increasing our funding of the WUHS Endowment which will provide financial support for years in the future, as well as, continuing to provide support for programs and scholarships for our students today.

What’s on the horizon?

• 2nd Annual Brewfest -September 23, 2023–Tickets are limited so get them now here! We sold out last year!

• 2023 Festival of Trees, November 16, 2023

• Annual Hall of Fame Awards in April 2024

• Scholarship Night in May 2024
