Richard LaFleur Memorial Scholarship

Richard was born on March 23, 1941, to Lincoln and Maxine LaFleur in Martinez, California. After Richard graduated from Mt. Whitney High School in 1959,he served 3 years in the Army. After discharge he began his life work in sales and farming. Working until he was 80, having to retire when Parkinson took control of his life. He loved to say when asked what he did for a living he was a “Wagon peddler” farmer and journeyman ditch digger for son Jeffrey’s business.
